Chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and related illnesses: a clinical model of assessment and intervention.
Friedberg, Fred·Journal of clinical psychology·2010
This article reviews how doctors and mental health professionals can better assess and help people with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, and related conditions. The authors present a practical framework using cognitive-behavioral approaches—strategies that address both thoughts and behaviors—to improve care for patients who often feel dismissed by the medical system.
